Mama Saludable, Bebe Saludable (MSBS) is all about babies, rewarding and helping expecting mothers to manage all their health needs – before and after giving birth. The program is conducted at our MSBS clinics where prenatal care and nutrition classes are taught by bilingual coordinators. We also hold Baby Showers and Mommy Showers to make expecting a little more fun and memorable for moms as well as dads. Lamaze classes are taught in Spanish, English and Cantonese. After completing all required classes, expecting parents receive wonderful gifts including a free stroller or car seat.
To ensure that expecting mothers do not delay prenatal care because they lack health insurance, our program also provides Medi-Cal application assistance at affiliated physician and clinic offices. All of this is our way of ensuring that expecting mothers receive the care and attention they deserve:
